Glastonbury Festival

The council will endeavour to provide all services as normal from the week commencing Monday, 19th of June 2017 whilst the Glastonbury Festival is taking place. However, the council does have a duty to monitor the licence of the festival and as a result some council resource will be used from the 21st June to the 25th June 2017. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Environmental Heath and Licensing

The bulk of the monitoring of Glastonbury Festival is carried out almost entirely by this service area of Mendip District Council and as a result there will be limited staff availability for other work for the duration of the event and immediately before and after the event.

Urgent enquiries will be responded to and non-urgent enquiries will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
